Darwin Griese: is our repair technician and has been diving since June of 1995 and has logged some 52 dives. Darwin became a scuba diver because at that time it was the closest thing to flying that he could achieve. (He has since achieved his dream of flying, he is a Helicopter Certified Flight Instrument Instructor.) His favorite thing about being underwater is the solitude of peace and quiet. If you have questions on the workings of your gear he is your go to guy. Darwin is currently a Rescue Diver and plans on going further with his diving career. One of Darwin's favorite things to do underwater is to be our "Rescue Dummy"!
Jim Bolding: is our Divemaster that has logged 90 dives to date. Diving to Jim has always been a way to experience the excitement and beauty of creation. His favorite specialty is wreck diving and he enjoys researching the history and archaeology of the site. He loves working with children and is really great at it. He also enjoys working with adults and basically anyone that will tolerate his antics. He loves diving with his wife and son, and is anxiously awaiting the certification of his youngest son to join the "dive group". Jim is also our Scuba Ambassador in Lander.
Fred Hutton: a Rescue Diver who has entered the Divemaster course, has been diving since 2006 and was our first certification through our store. Fred has always been interested in the underwater world. When he was a kid he loved watching Jack Cousteau. Being underwater is stress relieving from every day struggles. Fred is 6' 7" tall & being underwater is the only time his legs ever get to dangle and he says it feels GOOD! Fred also helps us by working in the store.
Mary Johnson: is also a Divemaster that has just joined us in wanting to help spread the joy and fun of diving.
Dick Pickinpaugh: is a Divemaster for us and our Scuba Ambassador from Lander, Wy. Dick started diving in 1976 and has logged more than 100 dives and looks forward to several hundred more dives. He took a 30 year break from scuba diving but began again 2007. He became a scuba diver because he wanted to observe the beauty of the underwater world. His dive experience has taken him to some wonderful places and given him the opportunity to make new friends. He gets gret satisfaction by simpy donning hi scuba gear and taking a splash.
Gene Wettstein: is our Divemaster that has been diving since 2005. Gene has logged over 132 dives so far. Gene says he always liked to swim and wanted to take it further by going underwater and exploring. Gene loves helping others learn the skills they need to become certified and has become a great asset to us and the diving community.
